About PickGrid

PickGrid is the public home for PickLab, an NFL season prediction experiment built for scenario planning, saved entries, leaderboard scoring, and AI benchmark comparisons.

What PickLab Does

PickLab lets invited participants build a full 2026 NFL season entry before the season begins. Users can save multiple versions, move through the schedule by week or by team, and see projected standings update as picks change.

After entries are submitted, PickLab can grade picks against final results and display leaderboard standings for locked entries.

Original Season Context

The app combines schedule structure, team pages, roster context, coaching snapshots, recent team history, win-total snapshots, and data-status notes so participants can make picks with more context than a simple bracket form.

AI benchmark comparisons are kept hidden while users draft entries, then become available after entries are locked so model picks do not steer the initial human submission.

Data Limitations

Football data is informational and may change as teams update rosters, depth charts, injuries, and coaching responsibilities. Some preseason spread data may be mock or manually supplied until current provider data is imported.

PickLab is independent from the NFL, its teams, sportsbooks, broadcasters, and data providers. It is an entertainment project, not betting advice.
